Good News – Regates Royales 2020

Dear friends,
Still under «AP OVER H», due to the Health situation, and hoping that you, your families and your crews are doing well, today we are happy to be able to give you good news regarding the organization of REGATES ROYALES 2020 .The YACHT CLUB DE CANNES team under the direction of its president Jean Pierre CHAMPION is actively working to welcome you in the best conditions at the end of September.We can now confirm that the REGATES ROYALES 2020 will take place and will primarily include THE sport program as announced in the notice of race currently published and that you know to know:
- Dedicated racing areas, with their team (Race Committee, anchor, security, etc.)
- Specific COURSES: Coastal course, windward-leeward courses…
- Race programs for each Class present…
To date, the format of the shore infrastructure is not known for health reasons; however we can confirm the reception of the boats at the Old Port of Cannes as every year. In this context, we will ask you to kindly let us know before the end of June 2020, at the beginning of July at the latest, your intention on your participation in order to organize ourselves with the Port Authorities. You can confirm and pay for your registration later. In this regard, we had taken the decision during the confinement period to modify and publish a new Notice concerning the reimbursement procedures.
We will make these official decisions by publishing the notice of race, modified very soon.We are happy to welcome you in September.
